Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.

Leviticus 25:38
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.

Thoughts

In times of uncertainty and times of waiting, God has reminded me that He is faithful. He is faithful to his word (Scripture) and his covenant promises. He is true to his character, that he is a good and loving Father who does not change. Even when the trials and storms come, he reminds me that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He can be trusted. He is for us and we can always find a reason to praise Him and bless His name.

When I find myself getting wrapped up in the uncertainty of the future, God lovingly tells me I can trust Him each and every day, just as I have in the past. I think it is important to remember and look back in our lives, during the good times and the hard times, and see the goodness of God. The history that we have with Him reveals that He remains faithful and because He is faithful, we can all have hope. Our hope is that this too shall pass and we know that He will be with us no matter what comes. He is the God that brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, after 400 years of slavery. That same God is with us today and He will bring us out of this difficult time.
